HFITSIO
Currently, I am working to create HFITSIO, a
HALCON extension package that
allows to use astronomical FITS
data files within HALCON,by wrapping the
CFITSIO
library. If you are using HALCON for astronomical image processing,
or are interested in doing so, please

The HFITSIO project is part of my long-term goal
of merging my professional experience in software development and
image processing with my interest in astronomy. I am currently enroled in
the
JCU Master of Astronomy Program, and as I learn more about the
image processing techniques used in astronomy, I will try to
evaluate the suitability of HALCON for astronomical applications.
